Ever get the urge to quit your job, pack your things, sublease your apartment and go on an Eat, Pray, Love trip? I do. All of the time. Lately I have been craving to go on some kind of a trip, an adventure. One that is life changing. A trip where you get out of your comfort zone and experience the world.

Do you know someone who always seems to be jet setting off to some place fabulous? Or maybe it is yourself that loves to travel and experience new things. As we are in the mist of traveling season and our winter vaca to a warmer place is just around the corner, gift yourself or your traveling buddy something new this Christmas.

On our final full day of Charleston it was my birthday!! I went over to my parents hotel to have breakfast. We decided to leave downtown and explore other areas of Charleston. One of the many things I wanted to do when visiting was to go to a plantation. We could probably spend a whole week just visiting plantations, but there was one in particular that I really wanted to go to, The Boone Hall Plantation.

Our second day in Charleston (read first day here), we decided to do some more exploring. I had a list of things to see and today was the day to do it. First we took a carriage ride through the historical homes and The Battery. It was pretty cool to learn about what buildings went through the wars, the detailing of the houses and why they were made that way, and how the town has change throughout the years. I knew Charleston was a historic town, but I had no idea how much history was still left in the streets and homes. Pretty cool to see! The houses are gorgeous and huge, giving me major #goals.
