Today marks the official start of The Masters. It’s only been within the last few years that I have found myself getting into golf. It’s not that I disliked the sport before, it’s more that I have a new appreciation for it. I find it soothing to watch. I especially enjoy The Masters and The Memorial Tournament (which I have frequent throughout the years as being from Ohio). You may be surprised to hear this, but I am not the best golfer. Shocking, I know. I am, however, quite the putt-putt golfer if I do say so myself. The last time I went golfing was after college with a few friends. I may have played 2 holes then retired to the golf cart to drink for the rest of the day. Now THAT was fun! (more…)

Over the last few years I have been getting more and more into playing tennis. As a kid I took lessons during the summers but didn’t stick to it. Then a few years ago I decided to jump back in the game with tennis lessons at Midtown Tennis Club. Since then I have become obsessed with the game and have been upping my tennis attire. (more…)

After all the sparkle has vanish, comfort comes along. In the months following the holidays I lean towards outfits that bring comfort and convenance. Something I can throw on and go. However, I still want to look put together and chic. Not as if I just rolled out of bed. Each year on my Christmas list I put an item or two of activewear that I am currently coveting; most likely a new pair of leggings and running shoes. However, ever since the pandemic hit and we were all forced to create at-home gyms, I have been asking Santa for fitness equipment. This year I am asking for yoga blocks so I can get a deeper stretch. (more…)
