After almost 2 years I am back with another NYC Restaurant Guide! I don’t know how time escaped me, I promise I have been wining and dinning all over the city. But I am back with Volume 10 of where to go out to eat in New York City. While trying to figure out which restaurants to choose from, I decided to share where I have had my birthday dinner over the last few years. When my parents come into town I try to find a new restaurant that I haven’t yet tried. And of course one that is a little bit more upscaled. If you are looking for places to have dinner here in the city that are a little bit more elevated – whether it’s for your birthday, date night, or for when your parents are in town- here are 3 restaurants I recommend. It seems like forever since I posted an NYC Restaurant Guide. I checked and the last one was posted back in May…. crazy! I promise I am still eating and enjoying the NYC food scene. Today I want to share a few restaurants that are perfect for date night, dinner with a few friends, and great happy hour spots. We have talked about brunch spots, date night spots and fun nights out with your friends, but what about when you want to grab something casual? Maybe it’s lunch or for dinner, something that is not expensive and you do not have to be waited on. A stop-and-go type place. As much as I love fancy restaurants, I can’t afford to wine and dine every night. Sometimes it is nice to get together with friends for a quick dinner. Yes there are plenty of chain restaurants that you can stop in, but you didn’t come all the way to NYC to eat at another Panera. Here are a few of my favorite, healthy cafe’s.

It’s been a few months since I have posted a NYC restaurant guide. I think it is a blessing and a curse that the city has so many options. I love to try new restaurants that either I discover through social media, my friends rave about, or I saw it on a website like Eater. But then again there are so many restaurants that when someone ask me recommendations or someone comes to town to visit, I panic a little on which restaurant to choose. Even though I have been here for over 6 years I still Google best brunch spots or great date night spots, etc. So here are a few restaurant picks that I enjoy and feel you will too.
