“Maybe God closed that door because he knew you were worth so much more”

Happy Friday and Merry Christmas!!! I am home in Columbus with my family for the holiday. To say that I am excited about Christmas would be an understatement! This will be my niece’s first Christmas and I can’t wait to watch her experience Santa for the first time. There is going to be cuteness overload!!

I flew into Columbus on Wednesday and have spent the past few days hanging out with my family; running errands, going shopping, and watching movies. Last night we watched A Charlie Brown Christmas and Miracle on 34th st. It has been a nice holiday vacation so far. Today we are baking cookies, wrapping gifts, and probably watching more Hallmark and Christmas movies. This weekend I have plans to meet up with friends, see Star Wars with my family, and celebrate the best holiday of the year!

Next week I will be taking a break from blogging so I can enjoy the holiday with my family and give myself a much needed break.  I may pop in to say hi with a post or two, but for the most part I will not be posting next week. I will, however, still post on Instagram and doing Insta stories, so keep a lookout for those!  If you are still looking for something to wear on New Year’s Eve– check out my holiday dressing for ideas! I just bought this dress and this dress for options. A friend of mine may be hosting a New Year’s Eve party in NYC, but it is still not 100% confirmed or I may end up at a bar with friends. Either way I know this New Year’s Eve will be one of the best!

Have a wonderful and Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year!! XO
