Happy Friday and happy almost Christmas!! I can not wait to go home next week for the holiday and to spend time with my family! I still have a few presents left to get for family members which I am planning on doing this weekend. If you still need last minute gift ideas you can check out my gift guide here. Although I am going to be running errands this weekend I would much rather stay home in my nice warm bed and binge watch Christmas movies.

This week, well, there were goods time and there were bad times. Last Sunday I unfortunately fell in the shower. It’s a tale as old as time.. I dropped the soap. When I went to pick it up I slipped and dove head first into the shower curtain landing on the edge of the tub half in, half out. Luckily I did not seriously hurt myself, only a wicked bruise on my hip and a temporary inflammation of my tendonitis of my wrist. My body did ache for a few days but I am grateful for what I have because it could of have been so much worse. Falling scared the living daylight out of me. I picked myself up and my entire body was shaking. I got out of the shower (after checking my body for broken bones or sprains) and immediately began to sob. It scared me. Honestly I just needed a hug. A real, barrel hug. Unfortunately my roommates were not home so I called my parents. I iced my wrist and bruised hip (also my ankle because it felt off). Like I said I am pretty grateful for the minor injury that I have, lord only know what it could of have been.

The rest of my week was much better. Tuesday morning I decided after my meeting uptown to walk through the Plaza Hotel and down 5th avenue to look at all of the store fronts that are nicely decorated for Christmas. SAKS Fifth Avenue’s window display is the story of Snow White. They had music from the movie playing. It really filled me up with so much joy, I felt like a little kid! No one does Christmas better than New York City!

That evening  I FINALLY took The Dance class by Amanda Kloots. I am a fan of Amanda as she is one of my favorite fitness influencers. Amanda owns the workout The Rope and also teaches The Dance at Studio B. Amanda used to be a Rockette and a Broadway performer. Her dance cardio class is definitely a lot more dance than athletic cardio, which I fully enjoy. Anyway, I have been dying to take her dance cardio class forever and I finally had the chance to. I had SO much fun learning her routines. I have to tell you, it was not easy at all; consistent moving and jumping. I died. I walked into Studio B alive and left dead. Then immediately went home and signed up for another class. Can’t wait!

Wednesday night I went to Milly x Diptyque x Christie Ferrari event. Christie is a friend of mine and one of the sweetest people I know. The event was fun with yummy popcorn and champagne. I wore my new favorite Milly faux fur jacket, which was perfect since the temperature was 20 some degrees. After the Milly event I walked over to the Rebag x Bag Snob event. I didn’t stay long because there were way to many people there in such a small space, but it was still fun.

On Thursday afternoon I went to the Louis Vuitton “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” exhibition. It was very well done and nicely put together. Each room had a different theme of either train travel, sailing, or flying, as well as going through the history of LV. It was interesting to learn how the famous brand started and how it has shaped history in fashion and travel. They also had gowns that were worn by either famous women on the rest carpet or in movies. If you have the chance to see it I highly suggest going!

As I mentioned, this weekend I am finishing my holiday shopping and maybe doing some shopping for myself. I am also taking over Body Conception’s Insta Stories all weekend so don’t forget to check it out!  Star Wars comes out today and I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE IT!! I have to wait until I am home to see it with my dad, sister, and brother-in-law, but I don’t know if I can wait that long! I will, don’t worry. It is going to be so good!!

Have a wonderful weekend! XO
