Elevated Everyday Look

If you have ever passed me by on the street, more often than not I would be wearing workout clothes. Whether I am going to and from a workout or running errands, I will be dressed in athleisure wear. There are times, however, that I will elevate my everyday wear. I will throw on a flowy dress in the summer or wear a sweater with leggings in the winter. But during the crisp fall season jeans and a nice jacket will be my go-to elevated everyday look.

For years I have been looking at moto jackets and never could find the right one. This pink one from Club Monaco caught my eye and I knew it was perfect for me. *It has been going in and out of stock, this one is very similar. Over the years this once  masculine and edgy jacket has become more ubiquitous, as it now comes in different colors, fabrics and structures. Which is why I found the pink color more my style as it really softens the structure. I will toss it over a dress as well as wear it over a blouse paired with jeans.

My mom jeans are back (first making their appearance here). If you haven’t bought these high-waist jeans, what are you waiting for?! They truly are amazing! I am even surprised how often I wear them. They are so versatile as I have worn them with a nice one shoulder blouse with heels, then the next day threw on a big sweater paired with slides. Comfortable and stylish, mom jeans are what every woman needs in her closet.

This elevated everyday look goes from day to night. I probably would not be wearing heels during the day unless it was for an event, but I would wear this outfit out at night and put on my nude heels to dress it up. During the day I would wear flats, loafers or slides with it. Since I do work from home it is easy for me to be lazy about my everyday wear– especially if all I am doing is going to a workout and then the grocery store. So days when I do leave the house for something more substantial, I will be elevating my style with this chic outfit.
