Men's fall season style guide. Barbour jackets, fishermen's sweaters, chelsea boots

Blush and Blooms, I know, is heavily focused on women’s fashion. I own shirts that have enough ruffles on them that could house a tiny village underneath each layer. But with that being said I do have a good amount of men followers that I can’t forget about. Hello gentlemen! Each season I like to do a style guide for men so they know what I think they should be wearing. And since I am a woman, you already know I am right.

I like to see men clean cut, preppy, and stylish. If you haven’t by now bought yourself a Barbour jacket, you obviously have not been listening to me. They are god’s gift to us all. I always do a double take and get a little weak in the knees when I see a guy sporting a Barbour. You know what else makes me weak in the knees? Cardigans. Not just for Mr. Rogers anymore, cardigans are on trend. It looks classic and put together. And fall is all about layering. I may hate layering myself, but for guys I love it. A classic button up with a white fisherman’s sweater is perfect for crisp fall days.

I have consulted with my go-to men’s fashion expert, a friend of mine from high school who I obsessively text when I write these posts and I am pretty sure there is a restraining order coming my way. He says the most sought out shoe of the season is the Chelsea boot. I couldn’t agree with him more. I seem to like them better in a brown or light colors rather than black. The coloring of this boot is beautiful. I also love this suede one in tobacco.

Men’s fall clothing is looking pretty great this season. I love seeing lighter shades in classic styles.
