nyfw trends

The runway may have spring vibes, the street style is all about fall trends. Even though every brand was presenting their spring ’18 collection during New York Fashion Week, I still found plenty of fall inspiration. One of the best parts of fashion week is people watching, checking out everyone’s outfits. It is always fun to see how people style themselves. I saw many, many different styles and trends; some odd, some that were god-send, and some that were relatable. There were 3 fall trends in particular that I continuously saw on every it girl this past week: white ankle boots, wide leg pants, and yellow/ gold tone attire.

I have already jumped on the wide leg pant trend (seen here) and I can definitely add some gold tone colors to my wardrobe, but the white ankle boots is the trend I surprised myself in wanting. I thought they were so cool, every time I saw someone wearing them I thought it was a nice touch to their outfit.  I was jealous that these girls can pull them off, maybe I will get the courage to try it.  One of you will have to buy a pair and send me pictures of you wearing them so I can live through you. Thanks.

Gold and yellow is a beautiful color palette to wear during the fall. If you are not ready to jump right into head to toe black, yellow is a great transition (so is red, the other it color of the season). During fashion week I saw yellow tops paired with a gold skirt or jeans, or an all yellow dress. It stands out amongst the crowd in the best way possible. I want to buy this dress as well as this top to wear during the fall season.

As mentioned, I have already jumped on the wide leg bandwagon, which is pretty risky for me. I love my skinny jeans, my body looks the best in them. Wide legged pants I always from, thinking the extra material was too much for my body. Now I am all about the wide legged pants. They are comfortable and chic, classic and so on trend. It is a refreshing way to style your favorite sweaters or fall tops.
