“keep some room in your heart for the unimaginable”

Happy Friday!! This week was relaxing. I did not have any events to attend to nor did I have stressful deadlines to make. My tennis lesson was even cancelled due to bad weather. I have basically been catching up on blog stuff ( getting ready for Fashion Week), working on my website redesign (you can see some changes now, but there is more to come!). I met up with a friend for a few drinks, and have caught up on all of my TV shows. A pretty good week if I do say so myself.

Wednesday night I met up with Sam from Bonjour Blues at While We Were Young. Sam and I met on Instagram a year ago and have only ran into each other once or twice at events here in NYC. It was nice to get together and really get to know each other! She is such a sweet, interesting person. She is a photographer as well as a blogger, and I have been really enjoying her amazing photos lately. My most favorite ones are of her brother’s horses. We have a common love for horses. The evening was fun and I can’t wait to hang out with Sam again!

Also this past week I took my first ever Mile High Run Club class. I am obsessed! My first class was this past Saturday and I have gone 3 times since. I have done the High 45 where you just run for 45 minutes with intervals and inclines. Then I decided to take Dash 28 where you run for 28 minutes then do about 15 minutes of kettle bell work. I really enjoy both classes! It really makes running enjoyable and the class goes by so fast. You are also able to run at your own speed– some people walk through most of it. On each treadmill there is a white card that has what MPH zone you should be in for 4 levels.  The card is spilt in half so one side is for joggers and the other side is for runners. I am somewhere in between a jogger and a runner… and I am ok with that. I think what I love most about this class is the simplicity of it. No real gimmicks or fancy equipment, just your traditional running of the treadmill. I highly suggest going….. you will probably see me there!

I have been binge watching Dawson’s Creek. I have seen every episode probably a million times before, but I am out of shows to binge watch this summer. So why not. I forgot how much I dislike Dawson. The most narcissistic whiner on the face of the earth. I like Pacey but do not start to really like him until he dates Andy. The real apple of my eye, however, is Dawson’s dad Mitch….. what. a. hottie. I’d rather watch him do whatever Mitch does than Dawson complaining about no one wanting to watch a movie with him. Mitch Leery is one sexy man……  Anyyyyywho, the best part of the show is the god-awful 90’s fashion. What were we thinking? I mean really? Watching Dawson’s Creek has brought back so many great memories. I used to LOVE this show (still do). I recommend this as a good binge-worthy summer show to watch!

This weekend I am heading out on a little road trip with Ashley and Elena. A little Hamptons reunion– none of us have seen each other since that weekend. Right now we are thinking of going to Rockaway Beach, but who knows where the day will take us!  Other than that I do not have much on my schedule. I do want to watch the new documentary about Princess Diana! Have you seen it? I am so intrigued!

Have a wonderful weekend!
