“everything is so beautiful when you stop looking for flaws”

Happy Friday!! This week felt way too long, but still enjoyable. I went to a few events, pulled an all-nighter, pretended to be Serena Williams, and today I am celebrating Bastille Day!

Monday was the start of my month-long tennis lessons. My performance was exactly what I thought it would be– not the best, not the worst. There is currently 6 of us in class together which means we get to play more and receive individual attention from our instructor. I had so much fun and can’t wait until next Monday for our second lesson. I went out and bought new Nike’s, a tennis skirt, and tennis tank! The next thing on my list is to buy a racquet. My 90’s spray paint pink one is at home….. I think it is time for a new one.

My busiest day was Wednesday when I had 3 events to attend. My day started off with the Who What Wear’s INF kick off event. At the event they had their Who What Wear + Target collection, where we could choose from either a pair of jeans or a jean jacket with a ruffle detailing. Always choose ruffle details… always (seen here). Anyway, they had a panel of influencers including Hillary Kerr, Co-Founder of Who What Wear, Raissa Gerona, Co-Founder of Alliance Apparel and Chief Brand Officer at Revolve, Rachel Zeilic, Head of Talent at Clique Media, and Danielle Bernstein from We Wore What. Each woman talked about the importance of digital media and influencers, tips for blogging and working with brands, and how to stand out. It was really interesting and I loved hearing from the brands point of view on why they choose so and so to do their collaborations. I am excited to be a part of INF network and for what lays ahead!!

Early evening Wednesday I attended an exclusive look at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Most of the products we viewed were from the beauty department, but it was still so helpful to see what will go on sale and what will not. The Nordstrom Early Access sale started yesterday (check out my must have items here). I got up a little before 4am to start working on my blog post, gathering items to put into collages. It was a very long and stressful morning. Luckily with seeing the preview the night before, creating my beauty collage was so much easier because I knew exactly what I wanted to put in it. After the Nordstrom preview I headed over to the PH-D Lounge for the Bustle and OGX event. I love PH-D, they have an amazing view of the city. It was fun event and I enjoyed mingling and getting to know some of the workers at Bustle.

This weekend for the first time in a few months I have nothing planned except…. Winter Is Coming. Who else is SO excited for the GOT premiere? I can hardly wait!

Have a wonderful weekend xo
