gingham dress

Summer has finally arrived! For the past few days we have been having 90 degree weather… and I still do not have my AC installed. Living the wild life. Anyway, when I think of summer I think of two types of patterns: seersucker and gingham. Both classic and always in style, and ones that I will wear often. This gingham dress, I knew, was a must have. A dress that you can wear from work to play, to a bridal or baby shower, special events, or a even a luncheon. A dress you will wear for years to come.

The pink color is soft and girly, but this gingham dress also comes in classic navy. The fit is pretty true to size, and actually comfortable to wear. The length hits above the knee, and the belt is a nice detail to accentuate the waist. I find this dress to be youthful yet timeless. A dress for anyone at any age.

Being in New York there is always an event that just pop up out of nowhere and one must be ready to attend in a short notice. I like to have classic dresses on standby incase such an occasion happens and I am prepared. This is a dress will definitely be a go-to for me for many events and special occasions. You can never go wrong with gingham!
