As much as I enjoy eating out at restaurants, sometimes I do not have enough time to wine and dine. Whether I am getting take-out or stopping in to grab a quick snack I try to find places that are still healthy. There are currently two places that I have been frequently going to. Two places that I highly recommend if you are looking for a quick bite or a healthy take out option.

Hu Kitchen

Hu Kitchen is my favorite healthy restaurant to order take out from! I was first introduced to their chocolates that are sold at my grocery store. I wasn’t aware the company was an actual restaurant AND located close to me! Then I found out everything is gluten-free……no doubt I had to try this place. I walked in and yelled “my people!”, only kidding,  but I did feel like I was amongst my clan of gluten free lifers. The food is soooo good. I have been getting stuffed squash, energy bars, and salmon cakes. Next on my list: chicken, stuffed mushrooms, and their smoothies. If you are looking for a healthy bite to eat, Hu Kitchen is the place to go!

Cha Cha Matcha

I love this place so matcha! This past fall I was introduced to the yummy green tea and I never looked back. I drink it every day. Every.Day. For those of you who may have never heard of matcha– it is a Japanese green tea leaf that is super good for you. It holds a lot of benefits –high in antioxidants, detoxifies the body and burns calories, boost memory, helps with inflammation, and so much more.

Cha Cha Matcha is one of my favorite matcha shops in the city. The place is darling with a vintage L.A. surfing vibe. And the outside is pink… love at first sight.  Besides their yummy drinks they have matcha flavored foods like ice cream, scones, donuts, chia pudding, macarons, and more. You must try this place out when you are in NYC!
