“so plant your own gardens and decorate your own soul,

instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.”

Jorge Luis Borges

Happy Friday!! I am currently at the airport waiting for my flight home to Columbus to celebrate Easter. Even though I saw my family last month, I am still excited to see them and celebrate the holiday. Easter is one of my favorite holidays… ok I just really like the Cadbury eggs (the mini ones too), like holy smokes why did they have to be so good? Ugh.

I talked about my family’s Easter tradition growing up in this past post here. Although most of it will stay the same, his year is going to be different without my sister, brother-in-law, and my new baby niece. I would give anything to see her in her cute Easter day outfit. Speaking of outfits I did not buy a new dress. It is a tragedy I know! I may wear an old dress or my new eyelet sweater with a skirt. Hmm so many decisions I have to make. Besides celebrating the holiday I am looking forward to spending the weekend with my family going shopping, seeing Beauty and The Beast (finally!!), and hopefully seeing my friends!

This past week was pretty quiet, not as hectic as last week. I was happy to have a slower week to get things done around the apartment and to run errands before heading home. I went to Bodies by P for the first time yesterday to their Thigh Gap Thursday class and really enjoyed it. BBP is a body sculpting studio that uses little to no weights and the movements are done at a slower pace. I barely even broke a sweat. I call it the lazy man’s workout that actually works. The concept behind the program is to do slower movements to really engage the muscle instead of using momentum to move.  I will definitely be going back!

Hope you have an eggcellent weekend!
