Happy Friday! SO much to talk about today! This past week was crazy with NYFW, I had a really great Valentine’s Day, and I have been getting my butt kicked in Body Conceptions.  During NYFW I had a really great time hanging out with my blogging friends and meeting new ones. I hosted a happy hour at Union Fare Saturday as a meet up for influencers/bloggers. I am so happy it turned out well and everyone seemed to have a great time! I saw a few shows, but honestly wish I went to more. I declined a few because I went to ModelFIT’s second Wellness Series Event. I signed up for it over a month ago not putting two and two together that it was fashion week. I am so happy and grateful I went to the series, as we talked about relationships and love and got to eat lots of chocolate, but was bummed to miss some of the fashion shows. Oh well, there is always September!  Besides the shows I went to Redken’s kick off NYFW party, spent hours at Shop Style’s Social House, and had brunch with Bloglovin’. So all in all NYFW was a success!!

Last week I started the Body Conceptions winter challenge. BC is a semi new workout studio created by Mahri Relin. Mahri used to be a top trainer at Tracy Anderson’s. The class is similar to TA with doing dance cardio and smaller weights, but the structure and movements are different. I have taken TA before so can attest to the difference between the two workouts. Anyway,  my friend Ashley, from Impossibly Imperfect, is running their PR and asked me and a few other bloggers to do the challenge. The first day we got measured and had before and after pictures taken…. ugh always the worst. We can take as many classes during the week as we want.  Also each week we track our progress– meaning we get measured. The first week, since I was mostly tied up with fashion week stuff, I only went to 3 classes. When it was time for me to get measured I was convinced my liquid diet of champagne would result in either gaining inches or staying the same. Well I was wrong! I lost half and each on my arms and stomach! woohoo! I am so excited to see my progress in the next 6 weeks and to see how my body changes. BC is no joke my friends. The classes kick my butt and I am soooo sore from it. I love it!

This weekend I am saying goodbye to my best guy friend from home as he is moving from NYC back to Columbus. I am also celebrating my friend’s 30th birthday on Saturday and am pretty excited for the big bash! I rented this dress from Rent The Runway… fingers cross it fits! Then on Sunday my two cousins are coming into the city for the day. Not exactly sure what our plan is, but we will be frolicking around town as I show them all of the hip, cool joints.

Hope you have a wonderful xo
