Lately I have been discussing my new approach to fitness and how I am trying to get back on track after my injury. Moving to New York I am trying to find new places to workout, and on a budget. I am currently doing ClassPass but am not sure how long I will stick with it. Using ClassPass allows me to try different types of workouts and places that I may not have tried before.

Since moving back I have been really into Pilates (mat and reformer), tried boxing and loved it, and went to a cardio dance class. I also bought a 5 class special to Tracy Anderson and 3 class special to ModelFit. I am really looking forward to doing both!

My journey to getting back into shape, I know, will not be over night. I have already lost a few pounds, have less aching in my leg (hurray!) and am starting to see definition in my stomach and arms. I haven’t used BBG since moving here, but may join a gym in the new year and do them. Who knows!

As a fitness devotee I always ask for some form of athletic wear or accessory for Christmas. I honestly think I wear more workout clothes than regular clothes so I am always in need of something new to wear. I recently bought this turtleneck sweatshirt from J.Crew, part of their new sports line,  and may never take it off. It is so comfortable to lounge in or throw over leggings to run errands. I will not necessarily workout in my new sweatshirt, but it is a great throw on to go to and from my workout. As for actually working out, I have been wanting this tank and this ear warmer and gloves for when I run in the fall and early spring.
