Last night I went to the new sushi restaurant called Fusian for a private party celebrating the opening of their Grandview location. The idea of Fusian is sorta like Chipotle where you are able to create your own sushi roll. The food is delicious! Last night each dinner guests created their own roll and each one of us was presented with one roll of each creation to try. My roll included brown rice, seaweed wrap, salmon, avocado, cucumbers, carrots, and sesame seeds. *Fusian has a gluten free soy sauce for those of us who are living GF. I am excited to go back soon, and try their PB&J roll! Oh and if you go, get the cucumber salad—so good! A few months ago I had the opportunity to listen to Zach Weprin, the CEO of Fusian, talk at a panel for Columbus Startups, it’s amazing to have heard him then talk about starting from the beginning, opening up restaurants in Cincinnati, and see it now come alive in Grandview. Pretty cool!
Tomorrow morning I am getting together with Amanda, from Girl About Columbus, for brunch! I haven’t seen her in while, so I am excited to catch up and celebrate her pregnancy!! She is going to be the cutest mom! The rest of my weekend is going to consist of working out, as per usual, having drinks with friends, and trying to get my dad to play tennis with me.
