Last night I saw the movie Begin Again with Keira Knightley and Adam Levine. I loved it! It was so much better than I thought it was going to be. I thought I was going to leave sobbing like a baby but in fact I left feeling rejuvenated and inspired. A definite must see as everyone can relate to it.  All the actors did a great job, the soundtrack was amazing (I loved every song), and I was swooning over Keira Knightley’s cute laid-back outfits.

The movie, if you do not know,  is about a girl who gets her heartbroken only to realize through certain events that she finds who she truly is and starts to believe in herself. We can all relate because we have all been there. We have all had to start over and begin a new chapter of our lives; whether its through a change in location, an end to a relationship, or a new career. I am no stranger to starting a new chapter: I have moved to a major city then moved back home, I have started and ended relationships, I have lost some friends, made others stronger, and created new friendships, and all along the way I have embarked on different careers. While I am still trying to figure it all out the one constant element is I know who I am and the type of person I want to become. Through all of my changes I have found my confidence in myself and that is the key to starting over; believing in yourself. I took a huge leap of faith recently, followed my passion and started this blog. I may not know where it is heading but I know it is going to be something special.

Believing in yourself is so important. People will always have their opinions and may not support your decisions, and that is ok. As long as you believe you can do it,  you work hard and are truly passionate, then you will achieve whatever you want. There will be times when you will second guess yourself, think you are not good enough and want to give up, but I argue that you need to push through the setbacks. Through the mess, heartbreaks, and the confusion is when you find yourself. It may seem like somethings will never be ok, but it will. You have to keep living your life–have fun– and wonderful things will happen.

If you have the chance to go see the movie, trust me you will leave feeling inspired.  I really, really loved the movie, and it made me fall even more in love with the city. The best part of course is the music, as all of the song were so good! Here is one of my favorites from the movie.

Enjoy!
